QFT. And that is why I love Air of Superiority, not to mention the occasional energy return to boot.

I like to use "Finish Him!" followed by needling shot. Nice coup de grace combo.

ursan blessing <-hit for 150 dmg ranged thru blind? this has been helping me thru HM henchie style!

i am unstoppable <drok run? yes indeed.

pain inverter <-Kills fire ele bosses and dervish aoe like in seconds. i literally took out the boss in catacombs in kathadrax in 10 seconds in HM cuz we balled up when hit by the boss's aoe.

summon mursaat <-Like OMG. the mursaat spams weakness on everything, not jsut the target u have chosen to atk. this makes melee intensive areas in HM so much easier.

Heya,
You guyz rock ... I didn't realize how much fun I would have with trying out all your different suggestions when I started this weird thread ~ and I am not even half way through lol ~

Racthoh: Nice ... have been unmentioned yet ... any particular suggestion on how to use them best? - Edit: Darn, Redfeather did beat me =)

To maraxusofk & boxterduke: Yeah I oddly enough like those summon spells as well and how great it feels to just forget all the grinding on my mesmer ... that Signet of Illusion trick is awesome ... weeehhhheee
This also goes for a yet not much mentioned spell:

Great Dwarf Weapon
40% chance to knock down O_O with signet of Illusion ...
Jora runs around and swings her cyclone axe combos bravely into any huge enemy mob while the only thing they can do is sit there and watch the scenery.
(not sure if stonefist works but i think so ... otherwise melonni might be the wiser choice or of course a guild buddy)

Keep it coming ... there is still room on my list

Cheers,
Timebandit

In order of most used.

"There is nothing to fear"
"Save Yourselves"
Ebon battle standard of honor (physical heavy party)
Ebon battle standard of wisdom (caster heavy party)
"Don't trip" (only in certain areas, but in those areas I love this skill)

Pain inverter is loved by almost anyone and we end up with two copies of the spell already so I hardly use it, although it is a great skill too.

Depends what area I'm in really.
Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support is usually on my skillbar (Arcane Echo'd :P)
and I like Alkar's Alchemical Acid against destroyers.

There's too many awesome PvE-only skills, I can't pick just one... although "I am the Strongest!" hardly leaves my Ranger bar... stack that with other +damage skills and Prepared Shot, and you can spam Point Blank Shot and Zojun's Shot forever... nice sustained damage output.

"You move like a dwarf!"... instant, uninterruptable damage... knockdown (ie. INTERRUPT!)... and crippling too?! And on any profession?! OMG

Dwarven Stability --> permanent Serpent's Quickness... or permanent Natural Stride... these are awesome in some circumstances.

Ebon Battle Standard of Courage... allows almost permament +24 armour for your backline/midline party members, without needing attribute points, or a particular secondary profession.

"Finish Him!" is practically an insta-gib against non-bosses once the target is at 50% health. This is like making monsters have half their normal health (you only need to get them to 50% and they'll die almost immediately after "Finish Him!")

Air of Superiority is unbelievable when killing large mobs or farming... you get a random Asura shout after every kill (recharge all skills, heal, gain energy, remove conditions)... and when the kills are coming fast...!

It's not a skill, but its PvE-only: carrying consumable res scrolls gives you an extra skill slot! (since you don't need to take res skill). Costly, but you don't need them that often, and I'm willing to pay to carry an extra skill.

Honor is basically Order of Pain in ward form that works both spells and attacks at a good enough rank. I never paid special attention to the vanguard skills until after I used three of the books on them. If you're in a party that isn't too melee focused I would definately want someone carrying this skill.

Wisdom is just as good, about a 50% chance of halving the recharge of all spells in a ward. Caster heavy group, pack it.

Seed of Life. Throw it on a noob and you won't have to heal anything for its duration.
